Elim Fertiliser (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2005 and is responsible for the marketing and nation-wide distribution of seaweed products, soil amendments, as well as a wide range of foliar nutrients and additives. At present we market the following brands:

A gap in the market
Director of the company, Izak le Roux, saw the need for a foliar feed range that not only comprised the important micro-elements so vital for the critical growth stages of the plant, but it also had to be compatible with the widely used glyphosate – a herbicide producers trust.
At that stage, there was nothing similar available in South Africa. However, after some research, Izak discovered an American company, Brandt Consolidated. At present, Elim Fertiliser is the exclusive distributor of the Brandt Smart Technology range, comprising Manni-Plex foliar feeds and their Smart Series – of which the revolutionary Smart Trio changed farming practices for ever. This foliar feed range is specifically formulated for the application of positively charged micro-elements together with glyphosate, thus simplifying any spray programme.
Why the name Elim Fertiliser?
Elim – The place of strong trees.
In biblical times, the name Elim represented an oasis where the Israelites stopped and camped following their exodus from Egypt. Here they could rest and share in the fresh water from the natural springs as well as be nourished by the dates growing in abundance on date palm trees. Trees that not only provided them with food, but also shade.
In the same way, Elim Fertiliser takes care of you, the farmer. Our custom fertiliser solutions are designed to address the micro-elements and limiting factors in the soil directly, resulting in healthier crops and ultimately higher yields.
STEP 1
Microlife – A granular fertiliser addressing the most limiting factors in the rhizosphere, resulting in more effective fertiliser applications.
STEP 2
GreenLiq – a microbe and root stimulant, Green Liquid contains a broad range of macro and micro trace elements, amino acids and organic carbon, plant stimulating hormones and enzymes as a plant food
STEP 3
Afrikelp – unique extracts contain biostimulants and other natural compounds that, among other benefits, stimulate and support root and shoot growth for a variety of crops.
STEP 4
BRANDT Manni-Plex is formulated to enhance the absorption and translocation of elements in the plant based on sugar-alcohol compounds.
BRANDT Smart System is compatible with Roundup, Dicamba, 2,4D, as well as a wide range of insecticides and fungicides.
STEP 5
Pivot – a range of products formulated for irrigation purposes. The PIVOT range is sodium free and contains EDTA and HBED chelated micro elements, ideal for soil applications.
